This pool water treatment course is for those trainees would like to obtain unit standard 25981- maintain water quality in a basic public pool and who are not currently completing the Senior Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

This pool water treatment course is also for those trainees who wish to take the next step from the Introduction to Pool Operations Course (US20046).

This module incorporates unit standard 25981 - maintain water quality in a basic public pool and provides theory and practical information on maintaining water quality in a swimming and spa pool.

This course has 5 theory and workplace task assessments that are provided for each of the course sessions.  

All assessments are open book and must be completed to successfully obtain US25981.  Trainees will require access to a pool treatment system to complete the required assessment tasks.

Copies of the presentation material and assessments will be provided electronically to all participants.
